Kites, Sunshine, Tennis and a few projects.

The weather has been so fine I have not taken the time to sit at my sewing machine all week!  As I work on a project for "Let's Hear It for the Boys" at http://iammommahearmeroar.blogspot.com/, I realized how much I missed it.  I also realize how much I want the Silhouette machine as cutting the SAVAGES stencil was tricky and it would be super simple with the nice expensive machine to do the cutting!  Hint, hint my dear hubby (ha ha ha).

Today's post are definitely more for my family and close friends so I apologize to those who are just stopping in. It's been a fun week from playing on the swing set, Keith playing tennis with Rory, Trey's party, and just plain enjoying life.  Even Keith's great-grandpa Gene had a successful surgery!  God is sooooo good :-)

Keith playing with the swings...too cute!

My first baby...Gabby also enjoying the spring weather.

Our friend Rory got Keith a tennis racket this past week and he is in LOVE!  Many hours spent enjoying the sun while hitting tennis balls.

To start off the busy weekend, we had a birthday party for Keith's friend Trey.  They had Batman masks and capes for everyone.  He was so shy I hardly recognized my kid!  Nonetheless he had fun and I got to make a cool shirt and bowtie for Mr. Trey.

Watching the action from afar.

Here are the two things I made for the birthday boy.  I had a shirt made by my friend's company Made for Me https://madeformeshop.com/Home_Page.html .  After Keith outgrew it, I realized how simple it would be for me to make them on my own.  I simply used a ruler and drew a pattern then started cutting, pinning, and sewing.  The bowtie was from a pattern I purchased from I Am Momma-Hear Me Roar's Esty Shop.  I have made several for Master Keith and it was fun making it for a gift too.

Keith also had his first visit to the dentist this week.  As Poppa D is also our dentist and Keith has been at the office numerous times, he was very very very excited to have his teeth cleaned by Teresa and checked out by Dan.  Great times!

My final picture is of a belt I made from recycling t-shirts.  I have been busy cleaning the closet finding lots of stuff to re-create.  Look for more fun things over the weekend.  Until then, thanks for reading and happy days!  God bless.
