Christmas- VERY VERY MERRY!

What 2-yr. old thanks Santa for his Christmas presents?  Ours!!!  Yes, Keith paused to thank Santa for his presents.  We prompted offered to help him write a thank you note so it could be done properly.  With that said, many thanks for all the gifts.  They will be played with a lot and are very much appreciated.  He is a very happy and satisfied boy. He woke this morning asking if he could go play with his train.  Such a great kid!  Attaching pictures soon...trying to download all of them.  AND I AM STILL WORKING ON THE VIDEO!

Keith thoroughly enjoyed his visit with Santa.  Enjoy the pics and I will try to post the video tomorrow.  We had a busy day baking cookies for Daddy's employees.  It was fun and fortunately we also got it on video.  I hope to post that video tomorrow too.  Merry Christmas.

Can you tell it's been busy!!!!

So sorry for the lack of posting since the first of the month.  Holy cow has it been nuts around here.  Between ballgames and Christmas parties we have been super busy.  The Christmas has been super exciting though and Keith makes it all worth it.  Since I have posted last, we hosted a Christmas party for 98 people...and not that's not a misprint and yes, I did all the cooking.  It was awesome though and everyone seem to have a good time.  Tonight though was the very best of the season. Our neighbors hosted a visit from Santa.  After decorating sugar cookies, Santa appeared!  For the first time ever Keith loved him.  He told him exactly what he wanted and completely enjoyed his company.  We brought a gift for Santa to give him and that made his night.  With that said, this will be my first attempt at posting a video.  I apologize in advance as I am not sure how good I will be at this.  Enjoy the pics and video.

Heard tonight we are to have a white Christmas here.  I couldn't be more thrilled...at least one thing will be like home (we apparently are having spaghetti and meatballs for Christmas dinner as we were invited to dine with the neighbors...really really considering staying home with my ham and potatoes!)  Promise to post pics as soon as possible after Christmas morn.

Sorry for the delay...we have had a couple clingy days.  Here are the pictures from ice skating.  Ear infection is better and we are headed to gymnastics in the morning.  Hope all is well with everyone.  Love ya.

Church, Brunch, Ice Skating, and Santa at the Bluffs.

It was a busy day at the Savages.  We began the day with Sunday School and Church.  We then took off for brunch.  Thank goodness for Walkers Bluff...it's a nice winery/restaurant we frequent.  They have the best Christmas spirit around.  For the holidays, they have an ice rink (synthetic so it wasn't great), Santa, Santa's workshop and horse drawn buggy rides.  Most for under $5.  Anyway, we did it all today in the super super cold with our friends.  Keith WASN'T a fan of the ice skating but hey, it was also freezing.  He did like the playground and horse rides.  Still isn't a huge fan of Santa but at least told him 6 of the bilzillion toys he wishes for, for Christmas.  I am downloading pics as we speak so they will be posted too.  Enjoy.  Until later, it's bath time with Daddy and off to bed for master Keith.  Love to all.

Christmas Crack!

Don't be jealous...our house has been decorated for Christmas since November 14!  I jokingly have told folks that Chet is on Christmas Crack thus the title of this post.  However, I quietly admit, I LOVE IT. It's been fun having the holiday spirit throughout our home.  Keith has been equally as thrilled. He loves the tree, the train and the village.  Oh and did I mention we have a tree in all the main rooms including Keith's?  I have posted pictures of our new very large 10 ft big balled/big lights Christmas tree as well as other fun photos of our home this Christmas season.
